Monday is always considered to be the "downer" day of the week, especially here in the UK, due to the fact that it is the first day after the weekend when everyone has to go back to work/school and because the week "resets" itself beginning with Monday with people having to wait another 4 days for another few days off.
Now ive come across an interesting phenomena while talking with my co-vloggers on the FellowshipoftheNing and thats across the ocean in the America's the week seems begin on a Sunday instead of a Monday. This i found perplexing as all my life ive been used to Monday being considered the beginning of the week and never hearing any different because it seems to be a universal standerd across Europe.
Im not too sure what i wanted to say here really, but i think it was something along the lines of how similer cultures can be and yet you still find subtle differences between them be it through things like saying when the week starts to the names of things (obvious the British way is correct of course ;D) but learning about these sorts of things is always an intruiging experiance for someone like me :)
Question: What motivates you guys through the week?
