So today i was listening to a podcast while putting washing up outside (hey im a teenager stuck at home during the holidays, what else am i gonna do but homework and chores? :P) called SG Flix, which is an offspring of the SarcasticGamer.com podcasts (check them out, cause they're pretty funny) that talks mainly about movies and whats on in the box office. They also talk about random movies after watching them based on what the audience votes them to watch and in the podcast they were talking about Starship Troopers.
Now i've never watched Starship Troopers before, but the way that they were explaining the plot and analysing the good and bad parts of it was of extreme interest to me and i found myself formulating my own opinion on the bits and pieces of the movie that were explaining, which i also thought was intriuging. Now normally i don't tend to think to much about films when people explain them to me, but because of the way they explained it in such detail because they had just watched it and they way they laughed and joked about various scenes, i got a good sense of what it was like (in most cases for Starship Troopers, incredibly cheesy) and how the characters were portrayed.
Im not too sure what im trying to say here exactly, but it was definatly an intruiging experiance for me and not one i had experiance before and i thought i might as well share it seeing as i have relativly little to talk about today cause my holidays are very boring :)
Question: Have you ever felt you've "known" a move after someone has told you about it, but before you've watched the film?
DFTBA
